VdZ Annual Conference 2026

From June 3 to 6, 2026, we were represented at the annual conference of the Association of Zoological Gardens (VdZ) in Basel. The event focused on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, the One Plan Approach, and the important role of zoos in species conservation—both through measures in natural habitats (in situ) and through conservation breeding programs in human care (ex situ).

For us, the conference provided an excellent opportunity to engage with zoo managers, planners, and other experts. We were able to showcase the wide range of applications for our Stainless SteelCable and netting systems in modern zoo enclosures and visitor infrastructure—for example, as railing infills, Fall protection greenery solutions.

We would like to thank you for the interesting discussions and the valuable exchange of ideas regarding the future of zoos and species conservation.
