Project details

100 Las Olas

The 100 Las Olas, with a height of around 150 meters, is the tallest building in the city. It houses a hotel, apartments and stores and is a striking landmark in the skyline. An outstanding element of the architecture is the facade, which is clad with 392 irregularly perforated metal sheets. A total of 11,300 LED Dots were attached to these sheets with retaining clips to create dynamic lighting.

The pixel pitch varies within the different sheets and creates an individual lighting effect that varies depending on the position and viewing angle of the observer. Particularly noteworthy is the mounting bracket, which has been designed to compensate for the different round and oval cut-outs in the sheets. This tailor-made solution ensures a stable and aesthetically pleasing installation of the LED modules, enhancing the building not only functionally but also visually.
