Eestairs Headquarter, Barneveld

The new headquarters of EeStairs, a world-renowned manufacturer of exceptional staircases, is located in Barneveld in the Netherlands. The building, which combines production and administration under one roof, impresses with its modern architecture and strong sustainability concept. The striking external spiral staircase, secured by our vertically tensioned I-SYS® stainless steel cables, welcomes visitors in style and at the same time makes a design statement about the versatility of the cable system. For over 20 years, EeStairs has been designing and building exclusive staircases for private and commercial clients worldwide - from leading technology companies in Silicon Valley to museums and lovers of exceptional architecture. This expertise is reflected in the new headquarters, which perfectly embodies the company's values and creativity. The design by Bronsvoort Blaak Architecten combines functionality with innovative design. The slightly sloping roof, which is the most striking design feature of the three-storey building, creates space for 4,800 square meters of creative work and precise production. The focus on sustainability is reflected in special insulation measures, solar collectors and resource-saving technologies, which earned the building an outstanding BREEAM rating.

The heart of the entrance area is the imposing spiral staircase, which gives visitors access to the administration level suspended six meters above the ground. This is secured by 150 vertically tensioned I-SYS® Stainless Steel Cables in various lengths from one to five meters. With a diameter of just four millimetres, the cables appear delicate and restrained, but allow the staircase to make a grand entrance. At the same time, they guarantee maximum safety and blend harmoniously into the overall architectural design. The I-SYS® Stainless Steel Cable System offers almost unlimited application possibilities and combines functionality with aesthetics. Whether as railing infill, fall protection, wind bracing or for facade greenery - I-SYS® combines stability, durability and a timeless design. The combination of robust material, versatile connection options and minimalist appearance makes it the ideal choice for modern construction projects.
