Kaulsdorf bicycle and pedestrian bridge
Kaulsdorf is increasingly focusing on sustainable mobility by expanding cycle paths, promoting electromobility and improving local public transport. An outstanding example of this commitment is the new bicycle bridge, which now connects important parts of the city and paves the way for environmentally friendly transportation.
The modern bicycle bridge spans the River Saale and will become a central component of the regional transport network. It not only promotes environmentally friendly mobility, but also sets new standards for sustainable transportation in the region.
X-TEND Stainless Steel Cable Mesh was chosen for the railing infills. With a mesh width of 80 mm and a cable diameter of 3.0 mm, the 185 m² cable mesh was installed. This durable and robust solution ensures ETA safety and blends harmoniously into the surroundings thanks to its open structure. The weather-resistant and low-maintenance cable mesh can withstand the challenges of changeable weather and guarantees sustainable, long-term use of the bridge.
