The Garden Tower in Wabern, Switzerland, is futuristic and sustainable - the first high-rise building in Switzerland with an entirely planted façade. With its 16 storeys, the tower is an impressive example of modern architecture that harmoniously combines urbanity and nature. The greenery of the facade was one of the central concerns of the builders. Climbing plants begin to sprout on every balcony of the Garden Tower and wind their way along the X-TEND® mesh to the upper floors. This gradually creates a living biotope that connects the architecture with nature and gives the building its name. The green facade not only offers visual highlights, but also numerous ecological benefits.
