Gondwanaland suspension bridge
Leipzig Zoo's Gondwanaland is home to 90 exotic animal species and more than 500 tree and plant species from Africa, Asia and South America under one large roof.
I-SYS® stainless steel cables were used to suspend the suspension bridge safely for visitors. The approximately 30-metre-long I-SYS® stainless steel cables with a diameter of 26 millimetres span the bridges and connect to vertical I-SYS® cables from which the walkways for visitors are suspended. These robust stainless steel cables offer maximum safety and fit seamlessly into the architectural design of Gondwanaland.
