Gronau pedestrian bridge
The 225-metre-long bridge over Gronau provides an important link for pedestrians and cyclists between Gronau city center and Losser by crossing the floodplain. To secure this bridge safely, a total of 3,000 meters of I-SYS® stainless steel cable were installed in seven rows one above the other. These railing cables not only ensure reliable safety for pedestrians and cyclists, but also contribute to the aesthetically pleasing design of the bridge.
Especially at night, the bridge becomes a visual highlight: 220 illuminated posts, which look like torches, light up the path along the bridge and give the structure a special atmosphere. The weather-resistant, durable and robust I-SYS® stainless steel cables blend seamlessly into the surroundings and support the elegant and functional design of the bridge.
