Project details

Zingst harbor

The Zingst harbor is located directly on the shores of the Baltic Sea and is a popular excursion destination with an idyllic view of the Bodden landscape. The harbor combines a maritime atmosphere with modern infrastructure and offers visitors attractive leisure activities such as boat trips, cafés and a promenade area. Nestled in the unique natural surroundings of the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula, the harbor is a meeting point for locals and guests alike.

To ensure safety along the walkways and promenades, the area was equipped with X-TEND® stainless steel cable meshes from Carl Stahl Architektur . A total of 512 m² of netting was installed, with a mesh size of 40 mm and a cable diameter of 1.5 mm. This combination ensures maximum safety and blends harmoniously into the maritime ambience.

The meshes were specially tailored to the requirements of the project. From production to installation, every step was carried out with precision. X-TEND® not only offers protection, but also an aesthetic addition that combines functionality and design.

With this solution, the port of Zingst is an example of how modern security concepts can increase the attractiveness of public spaces - without compromising on design.
