Wendlingen wooden parking garage

The new Wendlingen multi-storey parking lot sets standards in sustainable construction and modern mobility. With 349 parking spaces and an innovative timber construction, a building has been created that is not only practical but also future-oriented. Thanks to screw connections and the absence of composite materials, the parking garage can be easily dismantled at a later date and the materials recycled.

The design is already thinking about the possibilities of tomorrow: the parking levels are designed so that they can later be converted into living or working spaces. The ramp system? This can be dismantled to create space for a green inner courtyard - a solution that combines environmental friendliness and urban planning.

For the greenery X-TEND® stainless steel cable meshes were installed. A total of 236 m² with a mesh size of 100 mm and 1,103 m² with a mesh size of 200 mm, each with a cable diameter of 3.0 mm, ensure maximum safety and a transparent appearance. The meshes are covered with greenery so that the parking garage is enveloped in living greenery and becomes an architectural highlight.
