Michelstadt day care centre
A new daycare center has been built in Michelstadt that serves as a model for sustainable construction. Constructed from solid wood (CLT), the building combines innovation, environmental awareness and a lightning-fast construction time to meet the increasing demand for childcare facilities. The modern, open stairwell of the daycare center was secured with floor-to-ceiling X-TEND® stainless steel cable mesh. Covering 41 m², with a mesh width of 45 mm and a cable diameter of 1.5 mm, the mesh offers maximum safety without compromising the light-flooded and open architecture.
The energy-efficient wooden rooms create an inviting atmosphere in which children can play, learn and grow safely. The Michelstadt daycare center is a successful example of how modern architecture and sustainability can go hand in hand.
