The kbo-Isar-Amper-Klinikum in Haar near Munich, one of the largest specialist hospitals for psychiatry, relies on a sophisticated combination of safety and aesthetic design. Stainless steel cables with turnbuckles were stretched from floor to ceiling for the staircases. Special precision was required to place the colorful rectangles exactly on the stainless steel cables and to install them to fill the entire room. The combination of robust materials and colorful elements not only creates safety, but also a pleasant and lively atmosphere.
