Kochersteg Bad Friedrichshall
The Kochersteg in Bad Friedrichshall is an important contribution to improving mobility in the region. It connects central locations such as the school center and shopping facilities, thus facilitating access for pedestrians and cyclists. Whether for a leisurely stroll or a bike ride - the footbridge ensures greater comfort and safety.
The fall protection on the footbridge was realized with 320 m² of X-TEND® stainless steel cable mesh. Two different cable meshes were installed in different areas of the bridge: A 142 m² mesh with a mesh size of 60 mm and a cable diameter of 1.5 mm was used in the lower area, while the upper area was equipped with a 181 m² mesh, a mesh size of 120 mm and also a cable diameter of 1.5 mm.
The cable mesh not only offers reliable fall protection, but also impresses with its aesthetic and functional design. The weather-resistant, low-maintenance cable mesh ensures a long-term, sustainable solution and makes the walkway a real safety and sustainability highlight for the region.
