McDonalds Champs Élysées, Paris

The Avenue des Champs-Élysées is one of the most famous streets in Paris, and McDonald's also has a branch here, which was redesigned by French designer Patrick Norguet. The aim was to create a modern, urban flair. A central element is the X-TEND® stainless steel cable meshwhich fits perfectly into the clear design. It secures the open staircase areas without impairing the view and openness of the building.

The interplay between the large glass front and the transparency of the X-TEND® meshes creates a light-flooded, open atmosphere. Colored light boxes set accents, and X-TEND® was used as a safety measure in the open stairwells.

Thanks to the glass front and stainless steel meshes, the restaurant not only offers a modern ambience, but also an unobstructed view of the famous avenue, which respects the historic line of sight.
