Project details

Neanderthal Museum Adventure Tower

The Neanderthal Experience Tower, at a height of 22 meters, offers breathtaking views, captivating image installations and a virtual journey into the past. The picture installations tell the story of the Neanderthal, while the viewing platform at a height of 22 meters offers a panoramic view over the valley. Visitors can also immerse themselves virtually in the time of the Neanderthals to experience their world first-hand. A skull roof crowns the adventure tower as a striking landmark. This tower is a unique opportunity to discover the history and beauty of the Stone Age.

The guardrail infills on this tower are state-of-the-art and effectively designed using X-TEND® and I-SYS® systems. These systems ensure a safe environment while giving the tower an aesthetically pleasing appearance. Stainless steel cable mesh with a cable diameter of 1.5 mm was used for the railing infill, providing high strength. The low cable thickness makes it possible to maintain the transparency and openness of the railing, which means that the view of the surroundings is not impaired. The 40 mm mesh width and the edging with our I-SYS® cable, with a diameter of 10 mm, create an optimal balance between safety and aesthetics. This design allows visitors to enjoy the special view of the valley without compromising on safety.
