At the new Service Center, located on the NürnbergMesse grounds, a workspace is being created that is designed to promote openness, collaboration, and modern work styles. A standout feature of the redesigned courtyard is a delicate X-TEND® Stainless Steel -Cable Mesh, which serves as a trellis for the future Greenery .
The project features the " X-TEND® " CXL Stainless Steel-Cable Mesh with a Cable diameter of 2 mm and a mesh width of 120 mm. The six mesh panels were installed with a 180-degree twist, creating a distinctive appearance that combines dynamic geometry with remarkable visual lightness.
Another striking feature is the integrated " X-LED" lighting system, which transforms the rope fabric into an architectural highlight after dark while also emphasizing the seamless blend of functionality and design.
From the structural design through the design of the Cable —and the grid system—to the installation —including the X-LED andLighting systems —we were proud to be involved in every phase of this project. The result is a durable solution that harmoniously combines Greenery, innovative design, and contemporary architecture.
