In the Franconian Switzerland / Veldenstein Forest Nature Park, nestled in a picturesque landscape, the Pottenstein Adventure Rock offers a unique leisure experience for the whole family. The popular excursion destination was expanded in 2018 to include the high-altitude nature trail with the impressive Skywalk, which takes visitors on an unforgettable journey to dizzying heights. The path to the impressive Skywalk, which can be seen from afar, begins at the new excursion restaurant and leads along the high-altitude adventure trail, a kind of treetop path with a variety of stations for young and old. The brave ones who walk to the end of the Skywalk are rewarded with a breathtaking view from a height of 65 meters - an unforgettable view of the beauty of Franconian Switzerland.

X-TEND® stainless steel cable mesh was used to secure the high-altitude nature trail. The stainless steel railing infills offer an ideal combination of safety and design. The low weight of the meshes enables easy and flexible adaptation to the individual terrain of the trail. Even under the demanding conditions at lofty heights, the mesh remains stable and reliable without the need for extensive maintenance.
