Tower of Biodiversity

's Tour de la Biodiversité M6B2, a residential tower completed in 2016 by Maison Edouard François in the Rive Gauche district of Paris, combines modern residential architecture with sustainable urban development. The 50-meter-tall building comprises 18 stories of affordable housing with continuous balconies. The development concept is complemented by a residence for young professionals, commercial spaces, a daycare center on the ground floor, and a rooftop garden.

A defining feature of the building is its reflective, green facades, which become increasingly overgrown over time, continuously transforming the tower’s appearance. The green facade design supports the concept of eco-friendly and sustainable urban development in the heart of Paris.

Approximately 5,600 m² of X-TEND® Stainless SteelCable Mesh Facade greenery incorporated into the fall-protection Facade greenery . The mesh façade combines fall protection and Greenery a durable solution while enhancing the building’s architectural design.
