Project details

University of Rostock

The University of Rostock building impresses with its generous glass fronts, which create an open and light-flooded atmosphere. This transparency is continued inside, where delicate stair railings emphasize the clear architectural lines of the building. Our I-SYS® Stainless Steel Cables were used for the railing construction. A total of 700 meters of cable with a diameter of 6 mm were used. These durable cables not only ensure safety, but also complement the modern aesthetics of the building with their minimalist and understated design.

The robust I-SYS® Cables provide reliable fall protection, while their delicate structure supports the transparency and lightness of the glass fronts in the interior. They are a prime example of how functionality and design can be harmoniously combined in modern architecture. The University of Rostock impressively demonstrates how I-SYS® Stainless Steel Cable Systems can contribute to the design of safe yet elegant railing solutions - a successful detail in an overall architectural concept.
