WINAMAC Memorial Bridge
The Winamac Memorial Bridge, which was erected in 1923 across the Tippecanoe River as a memorial to the fallen soldiers of the First World War, now shines in a new light. The pedestrian bridge, which stretches over a total length of around 100 meters, was illuminated with 3,920 LED Dots in a 100 mm grid. These LED Dots were attached to the bridge cables, which have a diameter of 38 mm, using specially manufactured brackets.
The new lighting not only makes an impressive visual statement, but also honors the historical significance of the bridge in a modern way. The combination of innovative LED technology and the preserved architecture ensures that the monument shines in all its glory today, while at the same time honoring the memory of the victims of the First World War.
