Leipzig Zoo, known for its innovative design and dedicated work in the field of species conservation, attracts numerous visitors every year who are not only interested in the diversity of the animal world, but also in the impressive enclosures and habitats that have been created there. With over 850 animal species and a variety of themed areas, the zoo offers a unique combination of nature experience and education.

One example of this is the enclosure for the Amur leopards. The Amur leopard enclosure was realized with X-TEND® stainless steel cable mesh. Thanks to customizable mesh sizes and cable diameter, X-TEND® cable meshes can be optimally adapted to the respective safety requirements of the animal species. Thanks to their open structure, the cable meshes blend harmoniously into the surroundings of the enclosure and promote a natural sense of habitat. They offer the animals more space to move freely and at the same time guarantee visitors a clear view and the necessary safety.
